Title: Cracovia

A fine panoramic view of Cracow, the ancient Capital of Poland. The view is taken from the west and shows the Royal Castle, 'Wawel', perched on a hill above the river Vistula. To the north is the town enclosed by defensive walls and towers. To the right of the Castle, across the river is shown the large Jewish Quarter of Caimiria (Kazimierz). Along the lower margin is a 44 point index of noteworthy building.
