From 'The Atlas Anglicanus', first published in atlas form in 1767 and then reissued again in 1777. Emanuel Bowen and Thomas Kitchin were active, well respected and prolific cartographers and publishers of maps and atlases during the eighteenth century. This detailed county map has a tremendous amount of fascinating local information about many of the larger county towns.
