A double-page printed title, two folding engraved maps on England and Wales, hand-coloured in outline, forty-eight double-page English county maps (Cornwall and Devon hand-coloured in outline) with antiquities to the side margins. The final three maps (Westmorland, Cumberland and Northumberland) are slightly closely cropped, many of the maps have been titled in ink to the reverse by a contemp. hand, with some slight show-through. Recent antique-style half calf gilt.
Chubb CLXI. A reprint of the first edition printed in the same year, the only difference is that the maps have been numbered 1-50 within brackets between the border lines in the top left-hand corner.
