John Tallis was one of the last great decorative map makers. His maps were engraved by Rapkin and are prized for the wonderful vignettes of indigenous scenes.

In very good condition, overall light toning, the occasional small chip at the paper's edge and minor browning at the edges - all standard for this map. Would frame well.
